Well THANK GOD I skipped dinner last night in anticipation I might get it.
That is the ONLY thing that saved me from v*. I have NEVER had my
stomach hurt so bad for so long. I was rolling around in bed in agony
and I heard my hubby upstairs v* all night long. I still feel HORRIBLE and I
have to take care of my toddler- I wanna cry...

Sorry you are feeling so bad, I hope that you will be better soon. Just eat light food, a little, when you are better, some toast and crackers. And drink tea. But only when you are feeling better.

You will overcome it!

Hope you start to feel better soon, and your family. This is quite the year for sv's, and in March for heaven's sake. I hope this ends soon, for all our sakes! Take care, hun, feel better.

I agree - is there any chance it was something that your hubby ate and just knowing your hubby was sick possibly causing your stomach problems? Did you have any D*? Sounds like you had a miserable night... How is your hubby and how are you doing today?

being sick and exactly 48 hours hubby and I are both sick and he is v*, It
was for SURE a stomach virus. Now my mom daughter's grannie is sick
with it, she watched her friday before she started v* we all ate diff things.
It's the good ole' virus.

So are you feeling any better?

Do you typically catch these bugs from your daughter, or is this her first?

Did you do all the emet cleaning rituals, or just do what you had to do and tell yourself .......... if I get it I get it.

Sorry for all the questions .............

Yeah how are you doing now? Luckily this season none of my family members got ill with a sv but as far as I know it's been like 10 or 15 years since one of my parents last V*ed from a sv, they seem to have KILLER immune systems! (Since I'm adopted I can only hope that my birthmother has a good immune system too) Anyway I'm sorry you got sick I hope you feel better.

Hope you all get well soon!!! If you can't eat/drink anything substantial, break up some ice cubes and let the ice chips melt on your tongue, that way you stay hydrated. Dehydration will make you feel even worse!
Take small account of might, wealth and fame, for they soon pass and are forgotten. Instead, nurture love within you and and strive to be a friend to all. Truly, compassion is a balm for many wounds.

I did all the emet rituals to keep from getting it. But hubby and I both
held her while she v* I also drank after her a couple hours before (like my
mom her grannie did) so I think grannie and I got it from drinking after
her BEFORE she showed any symptoms.

I am starting to feel better. My bones aren't aching anymore and I ate a
piece of bread. It was one BAD virus. First is started with nausea and
stabbing stomach pain in the upper and lower stomach area. Then all 3
of us our bones started aching and head ache. It is one of those 24 hour
versions so tomorrow I should be good as new. This is the 2nd virus I
have caught from my child, I caught one last year too. But this year I was
"prepared" for it and refused to eat "just in case" and thank God I didn't
cause that is ALL that saved me from the big V*
