sv* means stomach virus

v* means vomit (sorry for those who don't like to see the actual words!)

    n* means nauseous

    d* means diarrhea

Some emets can't stand to even see the actual words, therefore we use the abbreviations! I hope this helps you out a little bit!

the only reason I use d* is because I can't actually spell it haha

We use lots of abbreviations here esp as some of us can't spell d* and some hate writing or seeing the word v*. I've only written it a few times and each time I feel odd about doing it - like i'm gonna jinx myself or something

    Anyway -welcome to the site!

I don't mind writing or seeing any of those words, I just abbreviate them out of respect for others who might be bothered by them.
