The remedies look interesting... and some of them kinda scare me - like the pickle thing

I use Peppermint Tea as an appetite suppressant and it works nicely. It seems to settle my stomach when I'm trying not to eat. Something about the heat and the gentleness of the flavor.

I have tried slightly sweetened drinks and that has helped with mine. Sugar water and flat soda/ coke help. Something about sugar has always helped my nausea and usually helps me restore the feeling of hunger too - seriously, I will eat something sweet before I start eating so I will *feel hungry*.
I\'m always a shade of purple...

Oh these remedies do sound effective but my problem is that when I'm nauseous, thinking about food (especially stuff like peanut butter or pickle or saltines which I otherwise love) or even smelling it only aggravates my nausea. But some fresh air, deep breathing and some strong mint-candies do help a lot. Also, rubbing a little vicks around the nostrils (or using the vicks inhaler) helps to get rid of nausea.
