When will the madness end?

I am afraid of my own cat. I know it's not the real v*, but it still puts me into tears when she has an ocasional hairball. The same thing happens around my dog. How can I cope?[img]smileys/smilies_06.gif[/img]

You can think of it this way, you can't catch what is making your animal v*. It's easier to deal with in the sense that what is causing them to get sick is not going to make you v*. I know it can be gross and yucky, but, at least you know you aren't going to get contaminated from it. Try thinking of it from that point of view. I hope it helps. I have 4 cats and the v* doesn't bother me at all.

The odd thing for me is that I do not mind at all when my dog gets sick. I have no problem seeing her, hearing her, or cleaning it up. It doesn't have that horrible smell that human v* has. Like babygap5 said, you know you won't catch anything from your cat
