I only found this site a few weeks ago. I have had this fear for about 20 years and I just found out it has a name. I was just on google looking at a few things about emets andI founda website that claims to cure you in 24 hours or less. I don't know how that can be possible, but I am curious if anyone ever checked it out or knows anything about it. Let me know. Thanks!!!

Save your money!!!! All you're doing is lining these people's pockets with your hard earned money. I myself dont believe there is a cure. I think anxiety medicaton is the closest thing we can get to help us deal with the anxieties of this phobia. Kim

my boyfriend bought me a video that claimed to cure a person of clown phobia (my only other major phobia, can't even hear the word clown) and it was a load of crap! it was $40 for two videos and i think it only made things worse. i watched 15 minutes of one and he watched the rest and returned them because they were such a scam!

when something sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.

Phobias often take a lifetime to develop, and very closely monitored treatment to help with it. As of yet, there is no "cure", but only a way to treat the anxiety, behaviours, and cognitions that accompany it. There is no "cure" because science haven't found the root of the problem yet. They have many hypothesis, but nothing is known forcertain.

people who sell these "cures" feed on the hope of the sufferer who doesn't know this, and believes what they say as "scientfic fact", when there is no scientific basis behind these methods.

the bottom line, these fix all cures are trash.

See a pyschologist for treatment they're very nice people.
