Sorry-the board must not be very active. D* does not mean you will v*
-you are panicking. Try to relax. Do you think this is left over from you
being sick a few days ago?

    Hi:

How are you feeling now? What have you eaten or what did you eat for dinner?

I've had really bad diarrhoea in the past and not v*ed - not even felt like v*ing. How are you feeling now?

I've only ever had d* twice in my life, that I can remember, and didn't v* either time - felt dodgy the 2nd time, but I think that was only my panicking making it all worse.

How are you doing now? Just stay relaxed and you'll feel better ^_^

Try not to worry - it is possible to have d* and not v*. If I have an sv*, I never have cramps with the d*. Could it be ibs?

Not every sv comes with d*. I get d* with no v*, and I usually panic for a bit too! I'm sure it's just left overs from the other day. Hope you feel better soon.

Nice Evelyn -- sorry that we were all fast asleep when you were having a panic attack -- by the way, haven't heard back from you in hours.

So, THANKS FOR LETTING US KNOW HOW YOU ARE NOW THAT WE HAVE ALL COME TO CONSOLE YOU!!!

There are times on here where people aren't on--I have never seen anyone ignore anyone else's hour of need on this site, so please don't take it personally, Evelyn, and please don't be so insulting the next time!! It kind of hurts our feelings, as most of us try our hardest to be supportive.

I agree with others - stop being so hard on us... Some of us DO SLEEP and do have lives OUTSIDE of the IES Forum! I, for one, was asleep.

I am just now checking the board and I am assuming you are fine because you haven't posted.

And yes, you can have D* without V* --- easily... Most of us have D* and no V*, which is one of the reasons so many of us have gone so many years without V*. It could have just been something you ate or your panic attack causing your body to go into "fight or flight mode".

Evelyn22 --- do you have any support in real life who might be able to help you through a time like this? I mean, do you have a friend you can call so they can "talk you through the moment" (this doesn't mean they will always be available)or do you have a plan of action set for yourself if you find yourself in a panic type situation? I do and it helps me tremendously! PM me if you would like some recommendations on how to develop a system that might help you get through your next attacklike this one.

As someone who's had d* many times in my life - and not once with v*, Ive learnt not to panic if I get d*. I've always assumed that v* would come first anyway, but to be honest I've no idea.

As for responses, it depends on who is around, and on time zones etc. In the middle of the night there will be less chance of a reply I'm afraid, but there's no need to take it personally. I can understand you might be more tetchy due to being panicky about d* though. Hope you're feeling better and that you update us soon.
