travel bands

has anyoneever tried travel bands to help with emet? i wear they more or less all the time. they say it works an accupreasure point on your wrist to help with n*


you can wear them as and when you want and you can buy them from most pharmacys (in england). there especially good for long trips!

My Mom gets car-sickness, and she swears by these! Especially if they go on a trip... she wears them on planes too.

I wear the elastic ones quite often. They seem to help some. I also have a battery-operated band called ReliefBand. It actually sends little pulses to the P6 nerve to control nausea. I don't kow that this one works any better than the elastic bands, though.

I'm not going to say that they won't work for you.......but for me they didn't do dick all. I get really bad motionsickness, and I tried them once to see if they would help, and within a half hour I was in my usual position behind the car at the side of the road, lol.


I want my money back!

i got mine from boots, the post office also sell them, but im not sure where you would get them in the USA

I used them when I was pregnant, my husband got them at K Mart for $5.

Yeah, the elastic ones are really cheap, but the one with the battery is expensive.

Do this bands work well for sailing? I usually take Dramamine, but it makes me drowsy....

they seem to work on the hover speed over to france. that is an exceptionaly choppy crossing! so i dont see why a normal boat would be different
