If Emetophobia is the 5th most common phobia, then why is there so little information on it, such as books, articles, etc.? Is it just that it is such a distasteful subject? I have found lots of stuff in books on anxiety and phobias about people being scared of spiders or dogs or heights, but hardly a word on emet.
Another question: is emet connected to, or a part of OCD?
    Thanks .

I agree with your frustration. I have been trying to find a therapist to work with. None of them have ever worked with it and some of them have never even heard of it.

good question - I'm going to tackle answering it and then posting it on the "Sage advice" FAQ section. ...

...first I'm gonna go look for where I posted this before.
