Ok so get this, for three weeks now i've had a constant sore throat and
cold, and over the past week i've formed a chesty cough that mainly
plays up later at night, just before bed and when im in bed. Also to
make things worse, last night my ear began playing up, it was closing
to being earache, but it was like a throbbing and feels like theres
loads of pressure in there. I dont know if anyone knows what i mean but
its like you can feel your ear throbbing and almost sounds like a
washing machine in ur ear lol!

Well does anyone know whats up? a possible virus? because of it lasting
this long! and also do you think it will involve sickness?

Hey, awww im sorry you've been feeling so bad. I had the same a few weeks ago, with a sore throat, headaches and i was weak, then i got a cough. So i went to the doctor as my stomach started to hurt and my ears felt horrible, so he checked me over and said it was just a virus and my stomach hurt because my glands in my throat were swallon which was making my glands in my stomach hurt and i only felt a little n* at one point as my glands were swallon, but i got told to rest and take paracetamol as its light on the stomach and after a few days was ok, so it could just be a virus. I hope you feel better soon, make sure you rest and drink plenty of fluids. Feel better and take care.

It sounds like a cold that may have turned into a sinus infection and ear infection. I have problems with my ears all the time, due to allergies, and I know what this feels like. It's just fluid in your ears. I;m sure this won't turn into a stomach virus. If you have a temperature, you shoudl go to your doctor. Hopefully this helps!

thanks for your advice and replies! its hard to rest as im working 6
days a week, and i'm only 18 but on nearly 40 hours a week! i feel
mentally and physically drained which could be the cause of the
prolonged recovery?
