But I'm just checking..

Yesterday a co-worker left work because he was feeling really nausated. He called me later in the day and said he started v*ing as soon as he got home. That means there are no bad v* germs floating around work, right? Only if he is sick here?

I've heard that you are most contagious in the short time period prior to becoming ill.

Most germs are passed via the fecal/oral route, so you would expect a sick person to be experiencing symptoms in order for them to passed on.Sometimes they are airborne but you would need to be close to someone who v*. I would say any risk to you is minimal so try not to worry.

The don't just "float around" lol Just wash your hands and you'll be alright, you have to be near him while he V* for it to be airbourne
Be courageous, believe in yourself, and be the best woman you can be. I'm with you all the way.

Yay! I just found out that he is going to take it easy for the rest of the week and then he will be in LA on business all next week. So I will not be around him while he is contagious!

There are a ton of factors to consider. Stomach viruses are contagious right at the onset of symptoms. Even at that point, you need to be near the person when they are v***, touch the v**, d** or saliva of the sick person and then bring those germs to your mouth.

Influenza is a different story. A person is contagious one to four days prior to showing any symptoms. This is what worries the experts about the impending Bird Flu, or pandemic flu.

Lastly, the immune system plays a huge part in this. My son had a sv three weeks ago. He and my daughter were playing together in the car with a lot of hand contact. Minutes later he v*** in the car. If there was any place the droplets would have spread, that would have been it. Anyway, none of us caught it.
