Worst nightmare: sewer main break

Had to walk through ankle-deep sewer water to get to my car as the sewer main outside the office burst and the office was evacuated. I am FREAKING OUT - so scared ths is an IT exposure... there were cars driving by.. people walking... "it" splashing everwhere....

I have three extremely important job interviews tomorrow and I am so scared that I am going to be sick from them....

DOn't they say you can get SV from sewer main break???

Far as i could tell, it was just water. My fear is of what was dissolved IN that water.

Don't forget you have to ingest it to get sick from it. You can't get it from breathing it or having it on your shoes. Wash your hands before you touch your eyes, nose or mouth and there is zero chance you will get sick.

Trust me, after living in the city for most of my life,I have stepped in some very large, very un-identifiable and somewhat sketchy looking puddles and nothing has happened. As Sage said, you have to ingest it. Just wash your hands!!
