    hi everyone

okay, heres the deal: my best friend just got her G2 last week. She's 16 but she is turning 17 tomorrow. for her birthday tomorrow, she wanted to drive me and another friend to the mall so we could go shopping (about a 45 minute drive). however, my parents refuse to let me in the car with her because they dont think she is experienced/responsible enough. i told my best friend that i probably cant drive with them and now she is VERY angry (she has a bit of ashort temper). i understand where my parents are comming from but i feel TERRIBLE and i hate that she is mad at me. I dont know what to do...

i just need advice thanks alot.

she sounds kind of ignorant and self centered. why risk your trust with your parents and truthfully speaking, your safety because someone else is selfish? tell her to get over it.
