IBS and emet

just wondering how many people suffer from IBS as well as emet, from reading the posts on this website i have picked up that alot of people have IBS too. i am wondering if there is some sort of a link, so i am going to tke this information to my clinical psycologist to get more information before i ask her.

I have had a bad "nervous stomach" since I was little. I tend to be more on the side of the chronic constipation though.

Have had IBS for over 20 yrs....i think they are definetley going hand in hand....one makes the other worse...and vice versa!!!!!

I had chronic IBS for the first 15 years of my life. so bad that i spent most of my time v* and laying in bed. I missed out on school and alot of other things.

I have serious IBS. Serious. I never sleep due to it lol, absolute nightmare.

I remember a while back being so happy I didn't have IBS as it seemed like hell. Sadly those days are gone. I think moving house triggered it and for the last 6 months I have definately suffered. It's been a learning curve for me really.

yes i got it through exam stress, ever since i was 14 i have had symptoms!
