Try a cup of tea & a slice of toast.. that usually works for me & the period shakes & n*..

If you have the energy get on your hands & knees & rock your pelvis back & forth & round & round, breathing deeply while doing it... this helps my pain. Also a hot water bottle wrapped in a soft towel placed on your tummy or back may help...

I hate being a woman 99% of my life & having to put up with the monthly misery so hope what I posted helps a little for you.

Hope you feel better soon

even when i feel terrible..sometimes i just go outside..if i just get
some fresh air in my system it really helps. try watching your
favorite movie or show and it can help take your mind off of it. it
might be getting worse because you're so nervous about getting sick.
i know how you feel.

Ibuprofin/motrin works better than anything else Over the counter. I
used to be on a prescription because my cramps were so bad, then one
day a nurse told me to try Ibuprofin because it works much faster. My
prescription would take an hour or so to work, and I would be in agony. I
had to go to the ER twice it was so awful. When I had a baby, I never had
bad cramps again- go figure. Try Ibuprofin.

Hey, hope your feeling better now, moderate physical exercise can also be helpful for relieving pain. Yeah also a hot water bottle held to the abdomen or back helps, or have one either side, thats what i used to do, like lay on a heat pad and stick another one top, like a sandwich lol. Even though you may feel just like sitting there and doing nothing when it gets really bad, walking around a bit may help to relive it, and hot baths, with bath oils possibly should help.

oh you poor thing - I remember those days! now my daughters are suffering on and off monthly...

one good thing to remember for next time is to do as much physical exercise as possible from this period to the next and just see how much better the cramps are next month. The exercise releases hormones from your muscles that counteract the estrogen/progesterone effects (reducing estrogen). This makes for a way better "period" experience.

My daughter the ballet dancer has no trouble with cramps - neither do any of her ballerina friends! (So like...if you do cardio-like exercise 7 days a week for 4-6 hours a day like they do you'll have no problem...lol) But honestly, even 1/2 hour per day of exercise will help loads.

When I was lifting weights 5 days a week, my periods got better, I felt better, my face cleared up. I felt so great. I'm going to start again soon. It's so worth it. You would not believe how much better you would feel. It's so hard to start, but you got to push yourself. I stopped when my parents came to visit us for two weeks. They always wanted to eat dinner around 6, well, at that time, my hubby and I were going to the gym at that time. I started feeling bad b/c I was supposed to be hanging out with my parents even though it was just an hour, so "stupid me" decided to take a break until they left. Dumbest move I ever made. I never started again and I just couldn't. So, if and when you start exercising, DO NOT STOP OR TAKE A BREAK FOR ANYTHING.LOL
