Scared of one more than the other...why?

I seem to be more scared of food poisoning than a sv and I'm not sure
why this is so. I wonder if it's maybe because I think in my mind
that sv is not as violent as food poisoning? Anyone have any
thoughts?

Yeah- I never considered this before, but I have to agree with you. Also with food poisoning there's a danger element- people generally do not die from stomach viruses, unless they dehydrate of course, or it's a sign of something else, i.e. a weak immune system. But food poisoning is sometimes a killer (certain strains- E-coli, Salmonella,Listeria etc)and it can be quite violent.

Yeah, I guess that could be it. Also, it's the idea of ingesting
something that has "gone bad" I guess that I cannot stand.

no its the other way round for me i think its because i know i can avoid food poisoning but i cannot realy avoid an SV*

I'm more scared of sv, because to me, fp is easier to avoid. I am sooo picky about food, and while I do worry about fp, I worry more about sv.

I am also more scared of sv*, because, as everyone else said, it seems like you could avoid fp more than the sv.
