I was looking on the net, looking at forums, when i came across one saying best pre-v* practices. So i took a look and read the post and people were giving this guy pointers of what to do, some saying drinking flat lemonade, others telling him to drink lots of water so it would be easier (sorry if thats graphic). His wife had it, the day before him and she v*, but he just had d* at this time, so it went on, people telling him what to do and then he must have went. Then the next morning he came back online and said this is what he done and he didn't v*, so maybe some of these things would work. This is what he put.

A couple of glasses of water in the morning
Pepto Bismol (approximately 4 Tb spread over a several hours)
Probably a total of one glass of ginger ale over the whole day
Four saltines
Two spoonfuls of Emetrol
Maalox (approximately two tablespoons late in the day. Eseentially the same as Pepto but tasted better)
One dose of Imodium AD
One yogurt (a lady in the supermarket said the enzymes in the yogurt would eat my stomach flu bacteria...could this have been the secret?!?)
One plain powered miso soup package
One tablespoon of Maalox before I went to bed
One cup of mint tea before I went to bed.

Sorry..just thought i'd share, maybe some of the things would help.

Wow, that is a LOT of antacids lol.

I don't know how those would help, but if they work, that is awesome

Just one thing to remember is that if you aren't actually ill, your
body's best defense against bacteria and viruses is the high-acid
condition of your stomach. So, if you take a whole bunch of antacids
before you are exposed, then somehow catch something, there is a much
higher chance of it getting past your body's natural defenses.

Once you are infected and experiencing symptoms, however, I guess it
would make sense that your inflamed (because of the bug) stomach cells
would be less irritated if you neutralized the stomach acid.

I don't know how that would affect the rate of healing though.

Good luck
