I've hung out with one of my best friends a lot since Wednesday. We
haven't seen each other in a couple of weeks due to our crazy
schedules, but we both managed to get Wednesday and Thursday off so we
hung out. We shared a soda and a cigarette Wednesday and were in close
contact the 2 days.

Anyway, she calls me about 1/2 hour ago and asks how I am feeling (
- a big trigger). I tell her fine (until she asked) and she says,
"Dude, I've been so sick all day! I've had d* since I woke up at 7
this morning (It's 5pm here now) like every hour!".

OMGOMGOMG. I calmly asked if she had real d* or just the runs. She
replied, "Water.". Oh noooooo. And she was n* when she first woke up
too. She said she though she would v* about an hour after waking, but
otherwise she has just had d* and not much more n* since this morning.

Does that sound like rotavirus or noro? I'm really at risk, aren't I?

I am ready to cry. I am so freaked out. And I had been feeling so good too for the past few days.

Ugh. I talked to her again, and she has had nothing but straight up d* all day. I think it's a rotavirus. I can handle d*, but it always freaks me out, because I expect n* and v* to follow.

well wot iv heard a lot on this site is that someone isnt contagious until they start showing symptoms. so if she didnt hav diorhea (however u spell it lol) or v* when you were with her, or efven feeling at all nauseous for that matter, than ur absolutely in the clear. just stay away from her til two days after she stops showing symptoms and u will be fine i promise!!!

She's still feeling crappy (pardon the pun) but I haven't seen her since before she got sick, so I am hoping I am in the clear.

It's been two and a half days since you saw her, and you haven't caught anything, so you will be just fine.

Have you been eating okay since then?

Natalie, I was eating ok until Sunday evening, then my tummy went wonky. I think it's anxiety.
