Okay, I couldn't fit the entire question in the box so I'll type it again.

Which of the four emetaphobic ctagories do you fall under? And I was curious. It seemed by the fourms that most beople fear themselves v***g but I wasn't sure.

I mostly fear myself, but others too. Especially if it is contagious!

I fear myself V*ing, especially if I don't know when its going to stop, or how many times its going to happen. But my main fear seems to be other people HEARING me V*. I feel that it would be so embarassing and humiliating for others to hear me. I find hearing others is also just as traumatising. And seeing others too. Especially if its more than once!! EEUGH. I put both but I mostly fear myself doing it. Others only bothers me (like daffodil said) if it's contagious or the whole "I saw it and it made me feel sick, will I do it from seeing it" thing.

I fear myself doing it the most.. that's when I freak out...

When others do it, I get nervous, but not as bad as if it was myself..

I'm with Neha... i fear v*ing, i fear other people v*ing but i fear THE MOST people SEEING me v*. But that last fear is probably down to the social phobia more than anything.

    I voted twice.

Cos I fear other people seeing me.
And I fear me getting ill.
And I fear other people getting ill. But mainly cos I worry I'll catch it.

Though I was with my friend and she was travel sick and I knew I couldn't catch it but it still got me upset.

Oh I most definitly fear both but I think as of late I have the fear of others slightly more under control than if I feel ill. I tend to panic more if I think I am going to. ESPECIALLY if I think I will be away from home for the humiliation factor if I can't be athome.
At home I still haven't pin pointed my panic as to why I can't just let it happen.

I haven't thrown up in 31 years, so I tend to fear other people doing it more so than myself. However, if I do feel queasy or especially nauseated, I do get anxious about that, but less so than with others getting sick near me.I will really freak out then - like crazy, shaking, sweaty freak out - but what gets me is that for some reason - obviously a part of this condition - Ihave to watch..for a second.Even if I am driving and a car is pulled over to the side of the road, I will quickly look, curious if someone is sick. It is so strange.
