Hey

I was just wondering because i keep getting this dream where my teeth are fallin g out. Sometimes they will just crumble in my mouth and i'll have to spit them out or i uncontrollably bite down and break my teeth or i'll have too many teeth in my mouth and some will fall out. I had a dream where 3 of my teeth fell out at once, in a wee row all joined together. It's def an anxiety dream as i get it at times when i'm stressed usually. Just wondering if anyone else experiences it? Or even just one dream they've had and woke up and thought.... thats significant. I always wake up in the morning and feel a great amount of relief when i feel my teeth are still there. (Been occuring more since last year when i kept having to go to an anxiety dental clinic and get IV sedation)

OMG, YES, I have had the tooth dream many times...It's awful because I can physically feel it in my sleep...I can feel my teeth all falling out into my mouth...I looked at one of those dream dictionairies about teeth falling out dreams and it just did nothing but scare me.

yeah i get that all the time, apparently (my sis told me) its when u grind your teeth in your sleep subconsciously and then in your dream the feeling makes you dream about teeth. Also i heard its when u have fallen asleep but the nerve endings in your gums havent recognised ur asleep.

I have that deam a lot too, sometimes in my dream I have too many teeth and I can't talk, or it's really hard for me to talk. I also have dreams where I still have a retainer in my bottom teeth (When I was younger I had a bottom retainer for years) and sometimes after those dreams I wake up trying to take the retainer out with my tongue.

I get those kinds of dreams too, and yes, totally overwhelmed with relief when I wake up to feel my teeth are still intact! However, the only dreams I get that continue to plague me every night, the same thing, are dreams about nuclear war and death. I have no idea why, nor do I know what they mean, but they're very unsettling. I started getting them maybe a year ago and now I have them at least twice a week since then.

Hey, here is the 'interpretation' of teeth dreams. It is considered one of the most common dreams out there, right along with the naked dream. I for my part, have recurring dreams of myself in Germany (I used to live there), trying to get somewhere I really need to be by some sort of public transport and unable to find my way, unable to ask for directions and totally unable to read maps, which I always try to do. I always end up taking the wrong train or bus, and arrive late.

"My Teeth Are Falling"</font>

</font></font>
</font><center>

</font>

Dreams
that your teeth are falling out are the most common dreams we here at
Dream Moods receive. Common dream scenarios include having your teeth
crumbling in your hands or your teeth falling out one by one with just
a light tap.Such dreams are not only horrifying and shocking, but
often leaves the dreamer with a lasting image of the dream. So what
does it mean?

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect
your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly,
we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth
play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the
game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or
affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual
impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important
feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody
worries about how they appear to others. Caring about our appearance is
natural and healthy.

Another rationalization for these falling
teeth dream may be rooted in your fear of being embarrassed or making a
fool of yourself in some specific situation. These dreams are an
over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety.

Teeth are used
to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth represent power.
And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of
powerlessness. Are you lacking power in some current situation? Perhaps
you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point
across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may
be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence
in some situation or relationship in your life. This dream is an
indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value
of your own opinion.

In the latest research, it has been shown
that women in menopause have frequent dreams about teeth. This may be
related to getting older and/or feeling unattractive and less feminine.

Traditionally,
it was thought that dreaming that you did not have teeth, represent
malnutrition which may be applicable to some dreamers.

Other Perspectives

A
scriptural interpretation for bad or falling teeth indicate that you
are putting your faith, trust, and beliefs in what man thinks rather
than in the word of God. The bible says that God speaks once, yea twice
in a dream or a vision in order to hide pride from us, to keep us back
from the pit, to open our ears (spiritually) and to instruct and
correct us.

In the Greek culture, when you dream about loose,
rotten, or missing teeth, it indicates that a family member or close
friend is very sick or even near death.

According to the Chinese, there is a saying that your teeth will fall out if your are telling lies.

It
has also been said that if you dream of your teeth falling out, then it
symbolizes money. This is based on the old tooth fairy story. If you
lose a tooth and leave it under the pil

Oh yeah, I have the same tooth dream, where I can pull them out.
There usually isn't any pain involved, just a very scary feeling!

I also tend to have dreams about losing my house in various forms, such
as fire, job loss, etc. I tend to get panicky about money issues
even though financially I'm doing dandy.

I used to have night terrors about vomit when I was little. They would be like the same awful dream on replay.

I have tghis reoccuring dream about having to go back to highschool but I am the SAME AGE as I am now. Such as I go to highschool and I'm 22 and everyone else is 16-18. I have to explain to everyone that the only reason I am there is because my parents are making me take one last class to get credit so I can graduate. This is weird because I graduated highschool, I have a diploma from Shaker Heights Highschool (A pretty prestegious school to graduate from) so why do I have these dreams? Weird huh?

I've had that high school one too! I was just reading that analysis of teeth dream. I agree alot with the self confidence about appearance and stuff. Also the bit about not being heard as i often feel i am ignored or my voice isn't heard or isn't important. It's weird, cause i get this dream all the time, not as often as some people, but every month or so it'll pop up and i think to myself in the morning.... this is a re-occuring dream yet we still (in the dream) think its actually happening. It's weird, sometimes i wish i could jump into my dream and shake myself and tell myself it's only a dream.
