Hi, I am new to this site. I've had this phobia for at least 15 years. It goes in waves, by which i mean it will be really awful for months and then there are other months where it doesn't bother me very much. this is one of those months where everything is getting to me. I did the hard things...i went to india and flew by myself for 14 hours which I panicked about for days beforehand. I am back home but have stomach cramping and a bad cold/cough. I am so terrified I am going to v. I am afraid I picked up something there or that I undercooked my eggs this morning. Either way, the panic attacks are getting worse. Anybody have any good coping tips? Sorry to be such a long post!

    Hi
Its common for this phobia to come and go, sometimes I'm really bad for months on end and then I'll have a few weeks where i'm not so preoccupied. i've had it for 30 years and can't imagine not being like this.
Try to distract yourself with pleasant thought, do things that you enjoy, listen to music that you like.
