The Barfblog should be required reading for every emet. They have the latest information about norovirus, bad restaurants, and bad celebrity cook practices.The blog has a disgusting sounding name because they want to be in people's faces about what happens when food is not handled safely.

I'm not sure why, but that didnt bother me much. And EVERYTHING gets to me normally. Hmmm..

Here is a comment I just posted on the Barfblog:

That photo was completely unnecessary. Do you have no idea that people with emetophobia read your site? We are very interested in learning to prevent vomiting but many of us are very afraid of seeing photos like that.

I just yesterday shared the URL of your site with the world's largest community of emetophobes, but now after seeing that on their first visit, I think many of them will not be coming back to the Barfblog.

That story also has nothing to do with food safety and is just a bizarre story about the hazards of chemicals.

There are lots of...not so nice pictures on that site. If you flip through the sections...they didn't bother me much but the stories made me a little nervous when I got done reading them.

I totally agree gumdropped I was like [img]smileys/smilies_03.gif[/img] when I was the pic... And reading the articles made me even MORE nervous about ever travelling on a plane/cruise ship lol... All in all I can't say I gained much from visiting that site and I'm pretty sure I read nearly everything, so think twice before you visit it guys it might actually make you worse off [img]smileys/smilies_11.gif[/img]

Thanks for the link...though I am not crazy about the name...somehow the b* word really bothers me...actually they all do...every synonym for v* makes me cringe.
