Default My son just v* (graphic!)

My son was a spitter-upper when he was a baby. (he's 17 months) That didn't bother me because I knew it wasn't contagious. A few weeks ago he kinda spit up some mucus because he had a cold. Well today he woke up, watched some Finding Nemo with me in my bed. He fell asleep which he never does watching Nemo. He's always glued to the tv. So I said let's get uo and get some breakfast. I cut up some ham and cheese for him and made myself a bagel. He drank some milk. I saw him make a funny face and I asked him if he was ok. I thought he was choking but I could see he was breathing so I didn't know what was going on. Then the milk and cheese and ham started spewing out. I realize now the noises he was making was him retching. So I cleaned him up and he was real spacey for a few minutes. Then he was crying for his pacifier so I gave it to him and laid him down for a nap.
I'm so surprised with myself that I didn't freak out! Didn't get the slightest bit of panic except to run across the room and get paper towels. Lol Also I thunk because kids puke so easily, I guess I haven't decided if it's an actual bug yet. He's had a runny nose so that could be it. Plus he has a tendency to chug his milk and he had just finished drinking some milk when he puked so maybe that was it too.

Sorry your little one is feeling 'off' today! But really happy you handled it well.

Hopefully this is a sign you're getting over the emetophobia!

    Sincerely,
    David

Thanks! I think he drank his milk too fast. He has been perfectly fine since. He's kept all his food down. But yeah I'm happy I handled it well!
