help!!! freaking out

i dont kno what to do, my niece who is 18 months old got sick earlier but we thought it was because she heaved on her food, she used to do this and get sick, but now she has just been sick again and i am freaking out, i have been close to her all day, and i am panicking so much, and terrified that the rest of my family will get it as there are 5 of us living here, does any one kno anything to do to prevent it, i probably am already doing them all but i am freaking out!!! plz help

firstly, calm down... you won't catch it as the virus is only contained in the v* or d* meaning she wouldn't have been contagious before she was sick. ways to prevent it: bleach toilets and wherever the sufaces the v* was. wash your hands reguraly, I wouldn't put them in your mouth either and just make sure your foods been cleaned before eating, don't worry though, there's not a big chance you'll catch it considering your emet and are most likely to be concious about hygiene. we're always here x

thanks i go crazy tho and dont wanna wash my hands becuz everyone has gone in there washing their own!, do hava anti bacterial hand gel, but everyone has been using that too, and i tend to stress about germs on them, but i gotta go the toilet in a min and really dont want to, considering her age tho, she doesnt go the bathroom to be sick, so its not as bad as an adult, but i am so scared, totally having panic attack dont kno how i am writing this tbh and she has just been sick again, i am so terrified!!!

Sorry you're going through this but remember young kids get sick for all sorts of reasons, it could be something non-contagious. Sometimes a simple ear/throat infection can make them v* or a high temperature. It could also be that she ate something that didnt agree with her. Just keep up your usual high levels of hygiene and you should be fine. Best wishes

thanks, i understand that young children can get sick for any reason, but she has been fine all day in fact she has been great, although my 10yr old nephew had *D* yesterday, maybe she caught that but becuase she is younger its affecting her more, the main thing i am worried about is my mum is the one cleaning up and she is the one that reassures me and is there for me, and i cant go near the only person that does that, i would leave the house and stay at my sisters, but i dont wanna get sick and my mum not to be there, ikno it sounds so babyish but hoping ppl get where i am coming from also even if my mum is cleaning Up, is there a chance that she wont get it, if she washes her hand really well, my mum says she knows what she is doing with having 4 kids and 6 grandchildren, but i am still freaking out, i am just hoping its something she ate, ikno she had a mcdonalds for the first time yesterday it could maybe be that ? thanks for replying
