    Question Teeth grinding?

So I'm going to take a wild guess that a lot of us on here grinds their teeth.

I've recently discovered that I grind my teeth, and am now getting some pain from it :/.
So, my question is, since I should obviously get a mouth guard for when I sleep, does anyone know of where I can get a good one for cheap? I know that might be a little difficult to find, but I just would like to know if it's possible.

    Please & thank you

You can get them from pharmacies here for fairly cheap, I guess to try before you get an expensive one, and you have to cut them to size yourself and out them in boiling water to mould them so they fit well. Perhaps look online, as well, since if you're getting a self-mould one it doesn't matter too much the size because you can cut it down if you need to and re-mould it.

I get SUCH bad migraines from grinding my teeth at night, it's why I've missed months of school. I have horrible TMJ now from it.

If you want it to actually do justice etc, I'd suggest getting one from your dentist, but they're really expensive, about 1,000 dollars. But they're worth it, because they do so much more than the pharmacy ones. But, it depends on how severe your pain is. Mine was causing me to miss weeks of school, therefore I had to do something. So it varies on the pain.

But anyway, back to the CHEAP part You can get them at local drug stores/pharmacies; I was randomly looking at tooth paste and I came across them, so they're totally accesible (spelled wrong but you know what I mean,).

    Aw haha

Yeah I think for you and I it's slightly different. Obviously the pain sucks, but for me it was making me lose my concentration in school etc and it was becoming a HUGE issue. Yeah the migraines/headaches/pain make nauseous too sometimes :/ but yeah like I said just look around a drug store or pharmacy around the dental section and I'm sure that you'll find something

I probably will sometime this week, or at least look to see how much they are. Lately I've been a little better with it, but I still need one haha.

You can buy them at any drugstore or online for under $20. The best kind are the ones you boil and then form to your own mouth. They have a heat gel in a tray. They are the closest you can get to the custom ones from the dentist. The others tend to fall out and feel annoying. If you feel an improvement with the drugstore ones and you have dental insurance, I HIGHLY recommend getting one fitted at the dentist. They are the most comfortable that you can get and much smaller and less bulky. Very worth it.
