ulcers?

im freaking out cuz i just found out i have an ulcer and that im anemic...according to the doctor, im prob anemic due to the blood loss..im freaking out because blood and stomachs dont mix...if you know what i mean....

Ulcers don't just happen overnight. You must have had it for a short while at least, and it didn't make you v then. The only thing that's changed is the fact that you know about it. In fact, you're less likely to v now since you can treat it!

Ps have you been tested for h pylori bacteria? As this is one of the leading causes of ulcers. The test is a simple breath test.

they said my white cell count is okay so they r not concerned about infection..i have to go get the ulcers "burned" to stop the bleeding...ironic how a person terrified of v* has stomach problems

H pylori isn't an infection as such, it's something a lot of people carry (like strep) but then something like stress (or anxiety) can trigger it. So your emet probably contributed in some way too! Good luck with the treatment though.

but if the bacteria grew in numbers, my body would react by producing more leukocytes showing elevated numbers in my blood........as with any infection...and yeah...it is prob due to stress but i dont understand why now, out of all these years of anxiety, it would start producing ulcers
