the reason you feel sicker than when you had your anti-emetics, is because a symptom of anxiety is - nausea.
When you think about it, anxiety causes nausea. You get anxiety due to your fear of being sick - Emetophobia. When you fear something, your body doesn't go into panic - but fight or flight. You're body/mind has actually chosen to fight. You get anxious, due to all the adrenalin your body pumps to fight the thing that has caused this fear. When this happens, you get nauseous because everything but the vital muscles, your heart, brain etc decrease in alertness. Your blood rushes to your vital organs for surival. And then once you're nauseous, it starts all again. You're not sick, you're simply fighting.

As for a distraction - play some games that need alot or all of your attention. Try to draw something beautiful and challenging. Watch some TV, talk to someone you trust, drink chamomile tea, or if you have fresh basil.. make a tea out of that as basil reduces nausea significantly. If you have ginger as well, give that a go, but I don't know too much about ginger. Drink cold water as well! It helps.
Stay calm, you're okay! remember that you ARE okay!

Definitely go to the doctor, as your doctor won't judge you, but help you!
Good luck, and I hope you're situation improves.
