Pickle Juice for Nausea

Has anyone else found that drinking dill pickle juice is a good remedy for nausea? My guess is because it's mostly vinegar. Whatever the reason, it works well for me. I even pour some in an ice cube tray and as it begins to freeze, I stick a toothpick in each, so on my crazy-nauseous days, I have the benefit of sucking on ice and pickle juice in one. Yum!

I have not hear of this.. although I think pickle juice would probably make me more N* lol.. not a fan.

My mom always told me pineapple and of course ginger ale, both of which I love!

I have never heard of that before! In fact, I have beard of people being sick from it but whatever works I guess. I am more of a mint dependent so I am always chewing gum, sucking a mint or drinking tea. I am glad you have somehing too I guess lol

I'm not really sure what pickles are...like pickled gherkins or something? I'm not sure I can cope with that! I've heard apple cider vinegar is supposed to be pretty good...and has a lot of health benefits...apparently it can even help acid indigestion although I don't see how as it is very acidic itself?

Vinegar is actually an acid which is why I do not see it helping. Pickles are pickled cucumbers but the juice is basically dill, vinegar, salt, and garlic. I have definitely heard of baking soda helping because it is basic but never vinegar
