Default New to site.. and not feeling well, again.

So I'm new to this site. I used to be a member of a similar site, but I believe it got shut down. I'm a senior in college, and I just want to be able to live my life without constant fear and worry, but any time that I make progress in my recovery, I get ill and go back to the beginning. I've been dealing with this fear since I was about 8, and it's miserable. I'm on anxiety medication, however it doesn't always seem to work . With this debilitating fear, I've also developed depression. I oftentimes think, "when will this end? will i have to live like this forever? will i ever be NORMAL?"

I just don't know what to do. I'm so tired of feeling sick, and I'm so tired of spending countless nights wide awake, terrified, with a stomach ache.

To those reading this, do you feel the same way? How do you cope with your fears, and how do you feel better when you feel ill?

im sorry your not coping very well. i understand what your talking bout though. dont give up the therapy though. if you feel your not going anywhere with it, why not changing therapists? i like to go for walks with my ipod, or for a nice drive when im not feeling well. i also come on here. its almost like nothing can calm you down or make you feel better when your constantly unwell. but keep up the therpay and everyday life, just hang in there. i also like to give myself something to look forward to. like i'll put some money away and sve it go horseridng or buying something i've always wanted. or even taking an extra day off one week. hang in there love
No passion so effectively robs the mind of all its powers of acting and reasoning as fear.

Sorry to hear about your struggles I cope by distracting myself and by having fun in life! However, it's not always easy.
