    Question I'm overreating now ._."

    I gained 9 lbs in 6 days. Holy hell. It's kinda a good thing, as I was 142 last week. But right now, I'm so friggen full, but I still want to eat xDDD Got a full sour stomach, but I'm hungry xD Got my antiemetics on stand-bye. Any tips for slowing down eating? It's caused by my meds I believe.

    The feeling of hunger is a good thing. It is the instinct that drives us to eat. However, overeating can be not healthy. I suggest that you try to limit how much you eat. That may take practice. For example, I am trying to eat smaller portions of food (I didn't do so well today). For me, I eat large portions of food because it tastes so good and I enjoy the taste! Thus, I eat for taste. So, if you limit your portions and how much you eat you are one step closer to being healthier. By the way, I am not saying that you are unhealthy. I am saying overeating can be unhealthy.

    That's good, merrick! One of the reasons you put on so much in a relatively short time is probably because you are underweight. Like Ben said, overeating isn't a good thing either. I tend to overeat on the days I feel well and Justify it by telling myself that I need to enjoy it while I can, cause I never know when things are going to go south again. The bad thing about this mindset is that it's literally feast or famine which really messes up your digestive system.
    Maybe use this opportunity to munch consistently throughout the day-small, healthy snacks and/or meals. One of my favorites is Melba toast with thin slices of Swiss cheese topped with a little piece of granny smith or Fuji apple. The cheese is a nice bit of protien, the apple gives a bit of sweetness and the toast has a nice crunch. It's quite tasty and pretty filling. You may also want to try one of those granola and yogurt parfaits-they fill you up nicely and are easy on the belly

    I use the small, healthy meal trick as well. I saw a nutritionist briefly because I dropped to 100 lbs and was refusing to eat (I'm 5"7'). She said one way to not snack so much is to make sure you eat on a schedule, at the same times each day. When you do eat, make sure each meal has protein, carbs, and a fruit or vegetable. If your "meal" consists of chips and cheese, that will not fill you up and you will snack more. What I did was breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a snack after breakfast and another after lunch.

    I can't wait to be healthy enough to get a job, I really want to eat healthy, but, my finances are... lost in nihility momentarily xDD I just ate 2 hot pockets, and a brownie in an hour, something which originally would have taken me 3 ^-^" One thing I'll get accustomed to is taste. Eating irks me and I'll NEVER eat anything displeasing ^^
