Default stupid teacher brought up sv*

So I went to class today and while my teacher was taking attendance, he brought up the fact that there's a sv* going out. Obviously that freaked me out for the rest of the class and ever since then (that class was at 12:15) I've been thinking that my stomach hurts or that I'm n*. I really hope there is nothing actually going around, and that if there is I won't get it. Why does this always happen?!?!?

You're fine. It's just your anxiety kicking into overdrive because of what your teacher said. Use it to your advantage. Keep your hands clean and avoid touching your face. You will be fine!
I wanna feel the change consume me,
    Feel the outside turning in.
I wanna feel the metamorphosis and
    Cleansing I've endured within
    My shadow

As long as you wash your hands before eating and touching your face, you'll be fine. I hate when people talk about it, too.

thanks! I was so mad at him for telling us about it lol, but I didn't think of it that way (using it to my advantage). I'll definitely be kicking up the hygiene routine

I'm a teacher and sometimes I warn my students about stomach bugs too. I think of it this way, if I warn them, make them aware, and remind them to wash their hands thoroughly and often I stand a better chance of protecting myself.
