    Question Should I tell my boss about my anxiety?

    My anxiety has really been bothering me at work the last few months. I am thinking about telling my boss since it is beginning to intensifier with work. I was hoping for some feedback from you guys of whether or not you have don this and if it was a good idea. I don't plan on telling him about my emet. Just the anxiety i have.

    I think it would be a wonderful idea. I think communication is very important. If he understands that you have anxiety, he will possibly accommodate you. Anxiety isn't like you don't like something, it's a legitimate illness that needs to be understood.

    I have told my boss and the other people I work with, and they understood. I spent too long bottling it up inside, it felt great to be able to talk about it with someone. Since then, my coworkers have been very accomodating.
