    Default Silly Question about Dishwashing

    Hello all!

I hope everyone is doing well. I have a really silly question but two days ago I ran the dishwasher and today I just found out that the soap never dispensed from the soap container when the dishwasher was running. It is possible that a little soap leaked out but definitely not all of the soap. Anywho, I am just wondering if I've been actually eating from dirty dishes for the past two days? Or if the water in the dishwasher was so hot that it essentially killed all the bacteria and germs? My stomach has been pretty upset since yesterday for no reason but I'm not sure it was because of this. Any thoughts?

as long as no one has been sick, nothing bad can get transmitted. I end up squirting just a dab of dawn liquid soap in the dishwasher just for good measure.
If you try and tell me a phobia is unreal. I dare you to live a day, and feel what I have to feel.

I'm crazy about the dw and literally squirt double the soap and run it twice each time just for this reason. that's my OCD though. in truth the water does get pretty damn hot. I would recommend rewashing everything tonight though. that's just my opinion. (my dw is on it's second run today...I run on weekend since it takes 4 hours and stresses me so much)....
