Thread: Feeling "gross"

    Default Feeling "gross"

I'm not really sure why but I just feel sort of "off" today. Maybe like a weird mix of mild fatigue and just... Unease. I'm a little anxious but not enough to trigger a panic attack or anything. My appetite is fine. Yesterday was pretty busy active, and I slept for 8 hours last night or so. It's odd.

I'm just a little freaked out because I feel like this has happened before when I got ill. I felt icky all day then I woke up sick that night. Personally if it HAD to happen I'd rather it just come on quickly and be done instead of dragging it out for a day or two. The only "exposure" I can think of is when my sister came down from uni on Thursday. She had a sv* the day before but was fine when she visited the house. Plus she didn't use the bathrooms and I made her wipe down her things so that would be very unlikely. PLUS the incubation period likely passed, as she came down with it the day after she was exposed.

I guess I just wanted to vent. I just feel sort of drained, and I hope it isn't due to illness.

Hope you are feeling better by now. I'd say you would be in the clear by now as regards to any possble exposure from your sister. It was maybe coincidental that you were sick in the night after a day of feeling like this, i think sometimes when we look back on the previous occasions we have vomited we remember every little detail - feelings, what we ate, wore, did that day etc and then whenever something appears to be showing a repeat pattern we think it's because we're going to get sick again. Like you say, you're not overly anxious and your appetite is fine both of which are good things. You might just still be a bit tired from yesterday despite having 8 hours sleep.
