My son has me in a bit of a panic. He was playing his computer game, when he just gets up and goes to the couch, crying and screaming in pain. His head was hurting. I got him up and took him to his room and made him lay down on his bed where it was quiet and dimly lit. He closed his eyes and calmed down. After about 15 mins. he said he felt better and sat up to pet our family cat that was sitting in my lap. Then he burped and he had that look on his face (or maybe he didnt bu my anxiety was getting the better of me) and I asked him if he felt like throwing up and he said I dont know. I told him to go to the bathroom as I bolted out of his room. (I know, bad mom, huh?) I had my 5 sec freak out in the den and went back to check on him. Still no V* He stayed in front of the toilet for atleast 10 mins. He says his head feels better now and that he doesnt feel like throw up anymore, but I am still freaked. I have learned through parenthood that nothing is by the book ........ know what I mean. Things can change so suddenly. I dont know if this is the start of something or a combo of getting a headache from playing the computer game and crying so hard or what. I hate this, I am stressed enough as it is, this is making things worse, and of course, this all happens on a night when hubby is at work!
Just a bit of an update, he said he felt sick a few more times, but nothing ever happened. He is asleep in his bed now, so we shall see. Can crying really hard make you feel like v'ing ........... and continue to make you feel like that for a while after you stop?
This whole time of year freaks me out. My youngest daughter teacher was out today, sick, with God knows what. Then, a little boy in her class v'd during nap time. My daughter said it was just a little bit and that he was coughing when he did it, and that he was coughing before nap time, so who knows whats going on there.
