Lately I've been waking up in the middle of the nightnauseous and panicking because I was dreaming of eating tons of food that I would not nomally eat. In these dreams I will binge on food and then feel sick and when I wake up I really feel sick. It's awful.

Anyone else have dreams like that?

I dream about v* all the time.

We often dream about things we think about during waking hours. I also
think dreams are situations our mind creates to accompany the *emotion*
we are having during sleep.

If we are feeling anxiety about food and our bodies all day, why should it
stop when we are unconscious? The dream is just a continuation of your
emotional state.

When I wake up during the night, my anxiety usually compounds because
I associate sickness and v* with the middle of the night. Plus, if I am up
all night I start to worry about how it will affect my performance the next
day.

I sleep with the television on so that my mind is occupied with basically
mindless drivel (rather than my own worries). If I wake up, I tell myself
that I will stay awake for one TV program before I worry about being sick
or losing sleep. You know what? I can never make it through the show.

I've recently been having terribly awful dreams, not really about V*ing or anything but they are REALLY disturbing dreams. When I wake up from them I'm definately in panic mode. That's why I always sleep with the TV on like eekelsey, and a lot of other people on this board. But I usually have EPIC dreams, by that I mean I dream most of the night and wake up in the morning all anxious...or at least the dreams SEEM like they last the whole night. But no I've never had a dream about binge eating...well maybe once or twice when I wasn't eating normally. Are you getting enough food?

I sometimes have dreams like that. The worst one was where I was eating a really large, sickly icecream that tasted horrible and I woke up feeling queasy. When I think about that dream now it still turns my stomach .

I have many horrible v* dreams where loads of people are being ill around me and I end up sobbing in terror and running out of the building.

I've had dreams where people are v*.. if it is a family member who does that in my dreams, it is hard for me to spend time with them the next day v_v I've recently realized, though, that I would rather have bad dreams then good dreams (except when the bad dream is a very graphic v* dream). Good (espescially great) dreams are so depressing to wake up from! I hate that...
