Hey,
It depends if you're goin abroad, usually it is best to drink bottled water, ask for no ice in drinks and try to avoid salad which may have been washed in local water. Stay out of the midday sun and keep hydrated. Foodwise be careful of undercooked meat, go for beef if you're worried. Apart from that im not sure really....maybe someone else will have more suggestions...!
