Thread: Got the runs!

    Hi all, not had any tummy problems since Christmas, well not until the weekend when I was staying at a friend's house and woke up with the runs and griping pains. I wasn't ill, felt OK in myself and only ran to the loo about twice. I panicked but the symptoms subsided by the afternoon so I just kept eating bland food for two days afterwards, though Sunday I ate nothing at all.


    Last night I felt OK so chanced a corned beef hash ready meal. I woke up this morning feeling fine, no pains or nothing, got out of bed (this is graphic sorry) but felt something running down my leg. I'd got runs before I'd got chance to make the loo! I have come to work and feel OK in myself but just been to the loo again and just have a tiny bit of the runs. I am panicking now incase its a bug that won't away and I might V, though I don't feel sick at all.

    maybe you just had gas while you slept and some came out...that has
    happened to my mom when she was sick...but maybe its just a sv* bug
    with just a little d* how long since you last went? did you eat since
    it happened? are you nervous or stressed about anything? do you have
    ibs?

    Hi, yes I am stressed right now. Since Sunday I have eaten, mainly toast and fruit but then had a meal last night. I haven't eaten anything today at all yet. I don't suffer from IBS but I used to do in the past.

    I am OK now thanks, not happened again so far, it was very strange, maybe just a bug clearing out of my system.

    Hunny, I don't think it's a bug, there's no way you have the runs one day and then 2 days later you have them again, doesn't sound like a bug, it really sounds like stress, I've been so stressed lately and omg my stomache has been making funny noises gurlging, almost D pretty lose (sorry tmi), and I honestly thought I had a bug too, nope it's just stress, you don't undersand what kind pressure you put your body under it really does effect alot of body functions not just the stomache like whenever I'm stressed I get the worst lower backache, and when i walk up in the morning my body is all sore it's awful. So no doubt in my mind this is stress because I'm having it right now too Not Completely D but it's pretty damn close, once I relax and everything and my stress phase is over the symptoms totally go away. Don't worry your not sick remind yourself it's just stress
