My IBS is killing me.I have had horrible cramping all day...so nbad I start to feel n*. I was stopped up for 3 days and now I'm not.

I have been trying to consume vitamin C because I have a cold too. Does anyone know if the cold could be contributing to my tummy woes???

    Hey Marie

Last week I had a horrible cold and my ibs went insane, even now it's not back to normal but yes that can have an effect on your stomach, I know mine went really bad and it made me feel so sick.

    feel better soon

    Hey Marie,
Yeah I think it definately can mess things up. I've been fighting the beginnings of some sinus thing all week and my guts have been on and off. Hang in there tho, its just because of your cold. I know sometimes when I feel nausea and crappy I immidiately think something is horribly wrong with me, but then make myself stop and think what could be causing it, and usually that helps me get a more straight head. Just know that its cause of your cold, and there isn't anything seriously wrong with you. It will pass.

ETA: Do you eat some before you take the vitamin C? I once took some vit C and IB profin on an empty stomach and was almost sick, so definately be sure to eat when you take it.

Galad, I learned a looooong time ago never to take Ibuprofen, vit C, zinc, or echinacea on an empty tummy. Makes me feel awful.

Heh yeah I learned the hard way after almost making myself sick. I hope you're feeling better Marie, bugs really suck, especially when they drag on.
