So this morning I woke up at had to go to the bathroom. It was loose, but not d*. I just had to go once, then I felt fine. I got to work and felt really hungry, so I ate some pop-tarts I had brought with me. Then my intestines started churning. This happens sometimes to me if I haven't eaten for a while and then I eat something (I didn't eat much yesterday because my daughter was REALLY cranky and would not let me put her down). Then I started feeling like I had to go to the bathroom again, so I went. Again, it wasn't d*, just loose but (this is going to sound gross) it had that smell. Not that it ever smells good, but do you know what I mean? That distinct smell when you're sick or something? Now I'm freaking out. My stomach is still churning and gurgling and I feel like I need to go again. Lately I have been rellly good and when I have felt like this I'm able to keep my cool and it goes away pretty quick. But that smell is making me wonder if I am actually sick.

I went to Sam's Club on Saturday and just as I was paying, the cashier asked another girl who she needed to ask to go home. The other girl said "are you not feeling good?" and she said "no, I'm not." I realize that there could have been a million reasons why she wanted to go home (maybe she wanted to go to a party or something or maybe her not feeling good wasn't even her stomach or maybe she was pregnant) but I of course, panicked. As soon as I got to my car I broke out the Purell and cleaned my hands really good. I tried to tell myself that it was good that I heard she wasn't feeling good because it gave me the opportunity to clean my hands before I touched my face or something (I might not have been as careful otherwise). But now I'm scared that maybe I did catch it. Afterall, she was touching my food and everything.

I hate feeling like this! I hope I'm not getting sick!

The same exact thing has happened to me before, on several occasions. I doubt very highly that you are getting sick. As for the smell, who knows...could have been something that you ate days ago, you know?

I imagine that you are a little bit off from not eating yesterday. I can relate because every time that I don't eat right, I start the same cycle and worry that I am sick. And can I tell you, I have never been sick as a result.

Try to breathe and keep your mind off of it. The more that your mind races worrying about it, you will just keep making it worse, and will have to keep going to the bathroom.

I would be very surprised if you ended up sick from this. It sounds just like a result of a day of not eating right and a little anxiety playing against you. I am around for a while if you need to chat or pm me!!!

Now I'm n*, but I don't know if it's real or anxiety. I don't feel like I have to go anymore, so I'm probably not sick, but I got myself pretty worked up.

I know exactly how you are feeling. My stomach has been off this morning too, and I had contact with someone who had an sv as well this weekend.

BUt I agree with the above posters. You don't know why things smell "funny" and it could be anything or nothing at all. I'm not sure if you have IBS, but that can do some really strange things to your bowel habits.

The n* is probably from the anxiety. If you can, get away from your desk, take a walk, and try to calm down.

PLease feel better and keep us updated!

OMG - now I'm starving. And I have a headache. I don't know what is going on with me. Sometimes I would swear I'm pregnant!
