I also have that book and you are right. It is great.
Something I read while on my honeymoon was a book called 'Don't Sweat the Small Stuff'. It was on the book case at the Bed and Breakfast and I am so glad I picked it up. It might not help specifically with the phobia, but I can see many ways to incorporate it into my daily life.
What I am finding is that much of the learnings of raja yoga are helping me a lot in dealing with how I think. I am still working on this and recently ordered a book that had been suggested to me by my yoga instructor. I will let you know how that goes.
