The past couple of days I've been on and off n* with zero appetite so I have been eating little to no food. Today I was starving to I ate a bunch of leftover turkey, a couple of eggs, and a small salad! I couldn't stop myself. The more I ate the hungrier I got. The cycle is killing me. Anyone have any good ideas on how to get off it??? Edited by: marieb73

    Hey Marie,
I completely hear you. I myself have been going through one of these cycles for the past several weeks where I can't eat hardly, then I get so hungry I say "to heck with it!" and eat a good amount, but then my guts hurt again and then I stop. Its an awful cycle. I think with us tho it is mostly the thought of possibly getting sick/feeling sick that keeps us in the cycle. I doubt there is anything really physcially wrong.

The one thing that I have found is that usually it gradually goes away and I am back to eating ok again, til the next go around. Its hard. Its been like this ever since I can remember (the cycles of being unable to really eat, and stomach aches, then it being ok for awhile).

About 8 yrs ago I lost a whole bunch of weight from exactly the same thing, well sort of lol. ANyhow, I know they say you aren't supposed to watch tv and eat or be doing anything else, soemthing about paying attention and weight gain blah blah, but I find being occupied helps cuz you aren't thinking about it. Get moderate servings of whatever or even small servings to start out and be doing something else when you eat for a while. Its not much but it's what I try to do and I still get my moments. Eat even just a little when you can tho.

I felt horrible late last night and didn't get to bed until the early morning. Still, when I woke up I made myself eat some eggs because I knew I had to help break the cycle. I'm really paranoid now with it being sv season, so it's even more importan tto me to keep healthy and to do that I have to eat.

Thanks for your reply and I agree with the cycle being the pits.
