OK so went shopping w/ Mom a bit today. Afterwards went to the store and got some chicken strips from the deli. THey tasted fine etc but the color of the breading was lighter than normal. Someone slap me into reality! I'm all worried cuz of this and cuz I'm supposed to go out tonight. It's 4 now, I ate it at 3:30 so only been half an hour. UGH I hate emet. Normal ppl don't worry like this!

Oh don't worry...It tasted fine and I am sure the breading was a lighter color because maybe they are usually sorta burnt or perhaps they use bread crumbs(which could have been a different shade due to not burning). Try not to freak out, easier said than done, I know. But try to relax and just realize that this is your EMET talking and not the rational you...

    Are you ok?

Yeah it looked like less breading was on it than normal so I'm sure if it had thicker breading it'd look darker and it was perfectly white in the middle, smelt/tasted fine. Just gotta have something to worry about BLAH!

I am the same way...If it's not one thing, it's another. But it's fine. Have fun tonight! What's on tap this evening?

dont worry. I examine my food also. lol. every single piece of it. & my mom yells at me 2 either eat it or dnt eat it..she doesnt understand how hard it is 2 do tht..my dad understands though..but then my mom yells at my dad for telling me its ok to eat. but i can assure you its fine..food isnt all the same color..even if youve seen those chicken strips a darker color before, food isnt a science..it can be lighter or darker...thats the advice my dad gives me.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that...Great point about the oil. When I was in College, I worked at this burger joint and it's very true that the french fries would be lighter when we changed out the oil...

Nope, you have nothing to worry about.
