Here's a thought. When I feel n* I take ginger capsules. The brand I take right now is Nature's Way because they dissolve sort of in my throat and feel kind of cool and menthol-ish. It calms me down and works much better than ginger ale because there is no sugar (I think sugar sometimes stirs up the digestive tract). It even works as a placebo when there's nothing physically wrong. It's like a security blanket. It works every time, every single time even if I really have a virus or something. Ginger tea also helps, Stash brand has a really good soothing ginger tea. Even slices of fresh ginger help.
