My husband and I went Christmas shopping last night and he kept saying his stomach was burning and it felt weak. I kept asking him if he wanted to go home and he said no. He wanted to finish the shopping. Well he v* in Walmart. He was kinda far away from me but I saw him kinda panic and start to run and he did it right there in front of everyone!!! People were so nice though they were asking him if he was ok. I stayed away. How sad is that. Anyway I threw him the keys and had my sister pick me up! But now I am freaking we didn't share drinks or hold hands or kiss but I was riding in the car with him when he didn't feel well but it was before he v* and he did cough a couple of times. What do you guys think? I don't want to get this. Christmas eve is tomorrow night!!! I came home and bleached everything and I am making him stay in our room and only use the bathroom in there. He did come home and v* a few more times and he still has d* this morning. He thinks it is food poisoning I think it isa sv*. Sorry this is so long. Just needed some input. Thanks Brandi.

Does he have an ulcer or anything? It sounds at first like some sort of acid issue. It sounds like he ate something that disagreed w/ him, I've never heard anyone w/ an sv say their stomach burned?

Anyhow, you weren't near him when it happened and just being in the car w/ him and him coughing before hand isn't going to contaminate you. Keep doing what you're doing (BLEACH, hand washing) to be safe side in case it is an sv but really doesn't sound like one to me.

OMG!!!!!!!! That is horrible he lost it in front of people. It scares me when that happens because it is my worst fear ( to lose it in front of people) and I feel so bad for sober people who lose it in public. I think it was food poisoning your husband had. I have an ulcer withmajor burning, gnawing pain, n*,as my symptom when it acts up but don't get d* from it.

I'm so sorry this happend to both of you. That's scary when that happens. I hope he feels better and that you stay well. The burning part of it sounds like something didn't agree with him.

I think I agree with the others...burning that doesn't sound right, and reminds me of last time my BF was sick and he couldn't describe it. I mean he wasn't n* right? THen it sounds like something not agreeing/FP...and remember the FP could have been from days ago, so dont worry too much. JUst make sure he doesnt eat and drink too soon because taht makes more v*
