This may or may not sound weird: Does anyone ever NOT go to bed at the time that they last v*? Wear the same color as when they last v*? Eat the same food as when they last v*? I myself have only done the first and third one. Isn't it weird that our minds can remember that far back, for me it has been 1988, and I am noe 37. Now I think I may have jinxed myself and will v* today. Why does this happen? I am constantly paranoid that someone I know will be sick and I will have spent the ENTIRE day with them, I frickken hate this emet crap I think that I have passed it onto my son who is 11, what a loser I am.. Sorry for the long post

Hey don't be so hard on yourself. I think we are all like this at least a little bit, right?

ThanksI know everyone is like this in one way or another but to pass this on to my son, I feel horrible. My kids usually only get sv 1 time a year but he is paranoid when someone says they have a stomach ache and I hear him asking the same questions that I would normally be asking.

I am the same way. I even hate songs that I heard on the bathroom radio when I was sick with v* and/or d*. So now, if I feel I will v*, I turn off the radio. I also hate Jay Leno show-it was in 1996 that I had the worst stomach bug ever and v* about 5-6times in 5 hours. I remember waking up (in the middle of the night-classic sv*) andwatching his show all woozy like before hugging the porcelain.I also do not eat Asian food anymore, except for one place that I never got sick from. I v* in April from a Chinese take outrestaurant.I tend to avoid most ethnic food, which I hate and sounds dumb because I am anethnic woman!! I only trust my mom and aunt's cooking because I know they are clean. I got bad food poisoning ( baaaad d* for a week) from a Mexican take out joint. Aside from the Jay Leno incident, that was the second sickest I'd been in my life.I guess both places traumatized me. Edited by: ginger_saves

I understand! I refuse to listen to the type of music now that once soothed me when I felt sick with a bad sv* just because it reminds me of that day.
