Sorta freaked out...Now obessesing

You know I wasn't really that freaked out about getting a sv, but now I am sorta panicing....I don't know why either. It just seems like everyone is coming down with the virus. People at my work are going home because of it, all these stories, are scaring me. I am usually not to scared about getting a sv, but I got myself a mini panic attack going...Why is this on the rise all of a sudden? What if I get it, what the hell am I going to do?? It is so scary...I just wish it was spring time, then they would be on the decline...What is with this year??Edited by: mitch04133

We're hearing alot of stories because it's the time of year when we are most run down and catch colds/flus etc. It can be a bit scary when you see everyone talking about getting ill but there are still alot of people who get through the winter fine without any problems, the worst thing you could do is worry, try to stay calm and get good sleeps and hopefully if you eat right and stay healthy you'll avoid any sort of bugs going around.

Now I am obessesing that I am going to get the bug from the girl at work. Whenshe went home she came into dispatch to tell us. She was touching all the door knobs and stuff. At that time I had I had no idea she was sick, so I didn't think to was my hands beforeor after I touched the door knob, and I know I was snacking on chips. Then when I found out she went homme cause she was v*, I can't stop thinking I am now infected!!! I am worried that the bug is inside me multipling!! What are my chances of catching it???

I dont think you have a chance of catching it from her. Its not like she v* on the door handle right?
