stomach hurts

well today my stomach has just been plain hurting pretty good. I am on my period, and I think that is it but usually its just pain below the belt, not around my upper stomach. I dont think that I have strained any muscles, tho the pain is kinda like that. Does anyone else get this as well?

I am like that now....it is a week before my period...and I can tell...it is ALL gas...I would have to say that it is just your period!

Thanks for the replies, and glad to know I'm not the only one who gets it (tho I wish none of us ever suffered stomach stuff ever again!) Maybe this happens just because it affects the whole digestive system or something.
