there are sooo many foods that "repeat on me" (like i can taste them when i burp) for a good day after i eat them (caesar salad, raw broccoli & cucumbers, donuts, onions to name a few killers)... i was explaining this to a few friends the other day and they told me i was crazy!! is this that unusual??!!

I think that has to do with acid reflux problems. All those foods seem like the ones they say irritate acid reflux. I have that problem with garlic that isn't cooked thoroughly.

No I'm like that too with certain foods for sure, and broccoli is the worst offender. I can't think of others right now, but I do the very same thing and I don't like it because in my head I'm thinking, "If I v* right now, that's what it would taste like." I always thought that was pretty common with "stonger" foods.

No, you're not crazy! It's a common thing. Cucumbers and raddishes are the things that effect me the most, whereas with my fiance it's onions and garlic. My dad has a problem with cucumbers like me and anything pickled. My dad and fiance are notemetophobic, and my fiance doesn't suffer from acid reflux, so I think food repeating is quite common to most people.

Garlic and curry do it for me, and red onions. In fact, anything highly spiced. Still love the food though!

I am like that too. That's why I gave up eating meat ion the first
place. I can't eat almost all vegetables because of that too.

I have GERD and a hiatal hernia so all foods repeat on me.

I agree about hot dogs. Green peppers do it to me also. And dill pickles.

    HDogg -

Green peppers for me too! Especially if they are raw - forget it - I'm on the ground with gas pains! However, I love red peppers, raw or cooked, and they don't bother me at all. Hmmm.
