On Thursday last week I called my doctor ready to start my Lexapro. He left me 4 packs, free samples at the front desk to be picked up the next day. Well I called later on Thursday and told them that I couldn't get them until Monday.I went and picked them up yesterday morning, the woman had to srouch down and get them from under the counter, they were in a plastic little bag which was folded. Last night I took them out of the bag and was just looking at the packaging. Theyn I agte something!!! I don't remember washing my hands. I know they must have been under that counter since Thursday and here it is Monday noon. Could there possibly have been any germs on it? I am assuming no one handled it since Thursday cuz it took the lady about 15 seconds to locate it. Now I'm a bit anxious over it, should I be? Kim

I wouldn't worry. The package should count as a hard surface, and it was in a plastic bag, so I doubt there was anything living on it.

after 5 days i think your fine. Most germs die within 24 hours (as told
to me by a nurse). Relax and don't think about it because all is good!

without a suitable host, the germs or viruses will die. I assure you, a plastic bag is not a suitable host.
