I recently went to my doctor to see what I could do for my emet and the constant anxiety that comes with it. She was very kind about it and prescribed me Lexapro and some anti-emets just in case. I've been on it for about two weeks and it's like a whole different life.
I'm able to relax at school and talk to friends. I can go out to eat andnot worry so much about fp* dirty cooks...ect. But yesterday was a huge triumph for me.

    *Graphic nasty stupid teenager stunt*

I was over at my friend's house when a group of guys came over. They had a list of things they needed to complete on camera(like a scavenger hunt). They decided to go with the "make a pizza smoothie" one. Guys can be pretty gross. I was in my friend's room when the guy drank they energy drink/pizza blender special. Quite obviously the second he took a sip he heaved and gagged and puked into the trash can. He went into the bathroom and spit a couple of times in the toilet. I was just sitting on the bed like "ew..stupid guys". I didn't flip out or leave the house or anything like that. I even went in the bathroom later to pee only to discover he hadn't flushed. It was no big deal. I just flushed and peed. I'm so proud of myself.

Did you suffer any side effects on the Lexapro and what dosage are you on? Kim

    Thanks, Emma.

Kim, I'm on 10 mil. I have not experienced one side effect at all. My doctor told me it is one of the best tolerated anti-anxieties out there. I am very very pleased with my results. Feel free to PM me any time.
